Last week on Friday our whole school went down to Pt England beach. I went in a car with my 4 mates there names are Ryan, Daniel, kishan, and Miss Langitupu. As my school was walking down to the beach they looked like a pack of zombie's looking for somone to eat. When we got there we had to set down and wait for Mr burt to finish talking so we could go and play when he finish me and my friends played a game of touch.

Te Aurere Waka

The Water represents the waves and the sun represent the light that guide our ancestors and the land represent the land of other tribes. Te aurere was used to sale from different lands and countries to make peace for a good friendship. Te Aurere was first built in 1991-1992 the waka was used for making long journeys probably brought maori's together.

Polyfest

Kia Ora, talofa lava, malo e lelei, faakalofa lahi atu, kia orana, bula vinaka, namaste and greetings!!  It’s Pasifika week in Aotearoa, this means it’s a week long celebration of all things Pacific.  This includes the birthday dance we had with Mrs Tele’a!  Part of the celebration is the Polyfest!  This Thursday we are planning to travel to Manukau to take part in some workshops and then visit stages.  The two stages we will be visiting will be the Maori and Diversity stages.  Did you know that this event - the Polyfest celebrates 40 years since it’s beginning?  Awesome isn’t it!  I think that people participate to show them they can also participate.

• not having time to let all their energy out.  

by doing dances that other people do in other country’s and singing songs like them.also by where cloths that there wore and saying words like the.leading the group like our people and smile and being happy in front of everyone so they can enjoy it and you can enjoy it as well and finally let and the energy out and buy food be proud of your self and make your family proud and happy.   

I am looking forward to seeing my cousins and I might see my nana and Aunt.I am also looking forward to seeing the tongan people dancing and other cultures most of all i just want to have fun and bye some food and let all of my energy out and look and all the happy people with the smile on their faces.

What i like about 2014 is I spend a lot of time with my friend. What I don't like about 2014 is how people leave school it sad makes me cry. Camp bentzon

Tuesday morning we set off to a camp on Kawau Island. It took about 1 hour to get to the ferry. When we were close to the ferry we started to sing. When we got there we where playing on the park.Then we loaded up the ferry and then we were on our way.It took us 28 minutes to get there

When we got to camp bentson we unloaded the ferry.When we unloaded the ferry we had free time to play around.The day after that we did our activity. My first activity was confidence course. I was really looking forward to salling and abseiling because it looked fun.

Finally it was time to do salling it was pretty cool but sadly it wasn't that much wind.It was Me, Mr Goodwin, Miss berry, Shanon,

and Bentzon B. I almost capsized i had to go back to get out all the water when i went back a man called peter said “Wow it looks like a sonamy”in here so I had to take out the water.

My favorite highlight was abseiling.Because that was the high’s thing I ever been on. I would really like to do it again but some people were scared.

Then on thursday it was finally concert night Yay First it went Kats then kuwa then machen then finally the best for last it was Bentzon
